Winmau, the world’s leading darts brand, has extended its
long-standing agreement with the Dutch Darts Association (NDB) to
ensure that the country’s top players will continue to use Winmau’s Blade 4 dartboard exclusively for all NDB events throughout 2013.
Both parties are also delighted to confirm that the
final stages of this year’s 35th Dutch Open Darts will be
televised live by Eurosport 2, with numerous repeats on Eurosport 1 and 2 in
the week following. There will also be live streaming available on the internet
for all finals, including youth.
The Dutch Open Darts is the largest darts open
event in Europe, with more than 3,500 players expected to compete. There
are Men's, Ladies and Youth Singles, plus the Pairs events and an increased
prize fund of €33,335!
As an added bonus, the winners of the singles
competitions will receive invitations to the Winmau World Masters in October
this year.
The WDF, BDO
and Zuiderduin ranked event
takes place from Friday 1st February to
Sunday 3rd February at the NH Conference Centre Koningshof
in Veldhoven.
Winmau favourite, Andy Fordham, will be making his return to the
BDO at the tournament and, with his huge fan base in Holland, is sure to be a huge favourite with the
crowds.
The prestigious Six Nations Cup Darts takes place
in the Netherlands on 22nd, 23rd and 24th February, and Winmau has been named
as the title sponsor.
The Winmau Six Nations Cup will take place at Holiday
Park de Krim on the Dutch island of Texel and will also be streamed live on the
internet.
The best six darts playing countries in the world of
darts will send their national teams and top players, to compete for the
prestigious Six Nations Cup Darts titles.

The Dutch Open Darts will be televised live on
Eurosport 2 from 4.30pm (UK
time) on Sunday 3rd February and
repeats and highlights will also be aired on Eurosport 1 and Eurosport 2 the
following week.
