A HOWLING WIN FOR WOLFIE!

MARTN ADAMS successfully defended his Winmau World Masters crown with a stunning comeback in the 2009 final against his England team-mate Robbie Green.

He went 2-0 down at the beginning of the 13 set final and admitted that he thought he was out of it when Green went 6-3 up after the interval.  However, a rejuvenated Adams then won the next 4 sets to retain his title with a 7-6 scoreline – exactly the same as his 2008 victory against Scott Waites.

England's Linda Ithurralde provided the shock of the tournament when she defeated "Golden Girl" Trina Gulliver 4-3 in the Women's Final.

Zoe Jones of England and Jamie Lewis of Wales lifted the Youth Crowns. Both winning 4-1. Zoe defeated Scotland's Emily Davidson while Jamie defeated Jeffrey Stigter from the Netherlands.
