WINMAU LAUNCHES EXCLUSIVE ONLINE TV CHANNEL

Winmau TV has been launched by the Winmau Dartboard Company.

It is an exciting and informative online television channel which will offer unique in-depth darts coverage to get fans closer than ever to the sport and the players they follow.

The new online channel will be the perfect place to enjoy exclusive coverage of Winmau’s players, together with insights into their life on tour, practice routines and exclusive footage of new products.

Winmau TV already has some exclusive content via YouTube and will shortly be hosted on winmau.com

Announcing the new channel, Ian Flack, Sales and Marketing Director of Winmau, said: "The television and media exposure for our sport is growing at a vast rate and darts fans are hungry for more exclusive content with regard to the products that they buy and the players that they aspire to be.

"We won’t be showing every minute of every darts game (as the major channel providers do that already) but it will be a channel devoted to darts which will provide something very different to anything else out there at the moment.

"We can help tell the whole story of the darts season, with behind the scenes footage from our players on tour. We have big plans for a rich line-up of exclusive programmes dedicated to the players, conveying the drama of the year on tour and exploring the technology behind our products.

"Winmau is demonstrating another example of the value we create for our customers and darts fans through our content and product leadership”.

In addition to a Blade 4 promotional video there are player videos and practice tips already available on Winmau TV.

"We are more than happy to support this initiative", says Barry Gilbey, Chairman of the British Darts Organisation. "We have enjoyed a long and successful liaison with Winmau and applaud them on this excellent initiative.

"Our future aim is to work closely with Winmau TV and provide a collaboration that can only benefit our sport as we look to the future."
