MARTIN ADAMS AT THE CRUCIBLE

Martin Adams was a special guest at the BBC televised World Snooker Championship at The Crucible, Sheffield on Monday.

He watched the final session of the exciting and much anticipated match between Ronnie O’Sullivan and Mark Williams, and was shown on screen and introduced in live commentary by Willie Thorne.

“Rob Walker, who is part of the BBC team at Lakeside and MC at The Crucible, invited me along and I couldn’t have wished for a better day or a better match to watch”, says Martin. “The hospitality was marvellous and, just like our darts, the standard of play at The Crucible was exceptional. “

The BBC did a feature for use during the snooker coverage, and also recorded another one for use at Lakeside 2013. There will also be a feature article on Rob Walker’s love of snooker and darts in the 2013 Lakeside souvenir programme, which will include photographs of him and Martin Adams at The Crucible.
