DETA DOUBLE AT GERMAN OPEN
DETA HEDMAN continued her winning ways by taking both the 2012 German Open Women’s Singles and Women’s Pairs titles (with Trina Gulliver).
She beat Lorraine Farlam in the Women’s Singles, and she and Trina triumphed over Irina Armstrong and Francis Hoenselaar in the Women’s Pairs.
Clive Barden and Steve Douglas took the Men’s Pairs title by beating Jimmy Hendriks and Scott Mitchell in the final.
In the Men’s Singles Belgian Geert de Vos won a close fought battle with Alan Norris to take the title.
