ANNOUNCE THEIR TEAM FOR THE NATIONS CUP
The Scottish selectors have announced the following team
to represent Scotland in the Nations Cup 2008 which will be
played in Wales on 23-24 February.

MIXED TRIPLES 2007
The 2007
Scottish mixed triples was played at the Bannockburn
Miners Welfare Club in Stirling at the
weekend.
The event was
won by the Lanarkshire trio of Lynn Cowan, Graham
Anderson and Jim Wood. Runners up were Veronica Hughes,
John Henderson and Chris Mackie of
Grampian.

aan Zee this weekend. Every dart from every match will
be shown live. Streaming starts at 19.45 CET on Friday
when all 8 evening matches will be shown. On Saturday
the stream starts at 13.00 CET and again at 20.00 CET,
both sessions will consist of 8
matches. |

The Sunday
stream starts at 11.45 CET and will continue until the
completion of the Final which is scheduled to start at
around 17.30 CET. The "Darts in Motion" website also
features a recent interview with Andy Fordham who will
be playing in the event.

MAKE GARY ANDERSON LAKESIDE FAVOURITE
After
a fantastic year, Scotland’s GARY ANDERSON has been made 9/4
favourite by Lakeside’s official on-site bookmakers Coral to
win the 2008 Lakeside World Professional Darts
Championship.
He’s
the in-form player of 2007, and after wins in both of the
Dutch majors - the International Darts League and World Darts
Trophy - plus the Scottish Open, BDO British Open and the
Northern Ireland Open, he’s fancied ahead of defending
champion Martin Adams (11/2), and No.1 Seed Mark Webster (9/1)
to lift the most famous trophy in World Darts.

Lakeside World Professional Darts Championships are organised
by the British Darts Organisation and will be played at
Lakeside Country Club, Frimley Green from Saturday, January
5th to Sunday, January 13th,
2008.
They
will be televised by BBC TV for the 31st
consecutive year.
